The Cystic Fibrosis Comfort Fund will benefit from two upcoming charity football matches taking place around the Bristol area.

The first match, hosted by Keynsham-based Frys Club, will be played at the Pavilion on Saturday, July 12 at 3pm.

The second match, the #FW Trophy match, will take place at Chipping Sodbury FC on Saturday, July 19, also kicking off at 3pm.

Last year's #FW Trophy match was a huge success, raising £3,000 for the charity.

The matches will feature players from various clubs, both current and retired, forming an #FWXI team.

Each game will consist of 90 minutes of football, followed by raffles, auctions, and other fundraising activities.

Spectators are encouraged to make donations at the gate.

The Saturday, July 19 game will also feature evening entertainment from the Abbaholics.

A spokesperson said: "These days are great fun and it's great to see the football community come together to support such a fantastic local charity."
