AN oil leak in a brook in Sedgemoor village Cossington killed several eels and shrimps on October 4 - prompting an Environment Agency warning.
The source of the leak has not been found and the agency is now reminding homeowners to check their domestic oil tanks for leaks before they top them up for the winter.
