THE Nationwide Foundation has approved a grant of £300,000 to help tackle fuel poverty among older people living in rural Somerset.
The Centre for Sustainable Energy will use the money to set up a fuel poverty advice service to identify and support older people in rural areas who live in cold, damp homes or struggle to pay their bills.
