TWO Manchester United footballing legends will be appearing in Sedgemoor next week to celebrate a special milestone.

The Bridgwater and South West Branch of the Manchester United Supporters Club will be 40 this week - and former United player and manager, Wilf McGuinness and former club and England goalkeeper, Alex Stepney will be appearing at Highbridge's Oak Tree Arena to celebrate.

The event, held at 7.30pm on November 14, will also have the FA Premier League trophy on display and feature a buffet, a raffle for a signed United shirt, and a performance by local Somerset group, The Man From Funkle.

The special guests for the evening will relive memories of their time at United and take part in a question and answer session.

There will also be time for photographs with Wilf, Alex and the trophy.

Tickets are available from the supporters club chairman Colin Howard by calling 01643-705865.

Non-members will be welcome, but numbers are strictly limited.
