MOTORISTS are being advised to expect "some disruption in Somerset today (Thursday, August 19).
An abnormal load is being transported south from Sedgemoor along the A38 to Bridgwater and then the A372 to Langport.
Drivers using that route should allow extra time for their journey.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: "Motorists may expect some disruption in Somerset today.
"An abnormal load is being transported south from Sedgemoor along the A38 to Bridgwater and then A372 to Langport.
"We'd advise anyone travelling along that route to allow extra time for their journey."
