TWO sets of roadworks that will last for six weeks are set to start today (Monday, November 15).
Various works are being carried out in Dorchester Road, Taunton, that will take 60 working days to complete.
A similar timescale has been set for various works in Whitworth Road, Frome.
Here are the other roadworks commencing in Somerset this week.
MONDAY (November 15).
ROMAN ROAD, TAUNTON: installing a new entrance, 13 working days.
NORTH LANE, HARDINGTON MANDEVILLE: masonry works, 10 days.
CHURCH STREET, WIVELISCOMBE: excavation in footway, five working days.
CUCK HILL, SHIPHAM: various works, five days.
MEARE ROAD, GLASTONBURY: resurfacing, five days.
STATION ROAD, WILLITON: resurfacing prep, five days.
KINGSTON ST MARY ROAD, BISHOPS LYDEARD: ditching and grip improvements, three days.
TUESDAY (November 16).
LOWER PITNEY ROAD, PITNEY: open-lay trenching, nine days.
COCKERCOMBE ROAD, OVER STOWEY: drainage scheme, four days.
SUNDAY (November 21).
BAGLEY ROAD, WELLINGTON: installation of weather station, one day.
