POLICE have issued an update on Friday lunchtime saying Anita has been found safe and well.

 

POLICE say they are "increasingly concerned for the welfare" of a missing woman believed to be in Somerset.

Anita Doidge, aged 57, was reported missing from Exeter, where she was last seen around noon yesterday (Wednesday, November 17).

Anita is described as white, about 5ft tall, with long, straight, dark hair which is greying towards the front. She wears glasses.

She normally wears colourful clothes and will be on crutches as she has a cast on her foot.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: "We believe she may be in the Weston-super-Mare area."
