THERE was plenty of nostalgia as vehicles from days gone by lined up at an event near Bridgwater on New Year's Day.
Scores of vintage and classic vehicles were proudly displayed by their owners at the Somerset Traction Engine Club event.
They met up at the Sedgemoor Auction Centre close to Junction 24 of the M5 in the morning before taking part in the New Year's Day Road Run 2022.
Long and short routes were available for drivers after cars, lorries, tractors, motorbikes and pedal cycles assembled.
Visitors from around the county attended the event at the centre, which featured an indoor market and refreshments.
The annual event can trace its beginning back to 1955, when a one-day steam party was held at Cokerhurst Farm, Wembdon, on the outskirts of Bridgwater.
