CUT price supermarket Aldi is looking to recruit 76 workers across Somerset before the end of the year.

Included in the stores were the company is looking to hire staff are Taunton, Highbridge and Portishead.

It is looking for people of all levels of experience to fill roles at its stores across the county.

The roles include both full-time and part-time positions such as store assistant and caretaker, all the way up to store manager, with salaries of up to £48,490.

The recruitment push forms part of Aldi’s nationwide expansion drive, with the supermarket on track to create 2,000 permanent new roles across the UK this year.

Last month, Aldi announced a second pay increase this year for its store colleagues, and claims to be the UK’s best-paying supermarket.

From September, store staff at Aldi will earn an rate of £10.50 nationally, with paid breaks included.
