Bridgwater College 26, Bicton College 12
BRIDGWATER College recorded a hard-fought win against a strong Bicton side.
Ben Spinney scored Bridgwater’s first after some great clean-up work from the forwards and quick passing in the backs.
Before the half was done, the backs, through Scott Franklin and Niall Homer, were able to exploit some weaknesses in their back line for Dan Frost to score.
After the break, Bridgwater were all business and Will Astill went over the line to score a third.
But Bicton hit back with two tries as Bridgwater switched off momentarily.
John Badger returned to the field and made his presence known with a great 50-yard run teasing the opposition with opportunities to make the tackle but flew over the line for a fourth try
