BURNHAM United hope to play their first league match since December 23 tomorrow (Saturday), as they are scheduled to travel to Uphill Castle (ko 2pm).

Having had their last two games postponed due to failed pitch inspections, United should be raring to go against the side who sit sixth in the Somerset County Division 1 West table, with the visitors currently seventh.

Berrow & Highbridge, meanwhile, face a tough task at Glastonbury (2pm) – B&H have lost their last eight games, while Glastonbury have won three of their last five.

In Division 2 of the County League, Burnham United Reserves host Chew Magna (ko 2pm), a match which sees eighth take on fourth, although they are only two points between them.

As for the Weston-super-Mare & District League, Division 1 sees Wedmore, who sit seventh, entertain ninth-placed Uphill Castle Reserves (ko 2pm).

Burnham United A are at home to Uphill Castle A in the Vardon Cup (ko 1.30pm), while there are no games for Burnham United B or Wedmore Reserves this weekend.

On Sunday, Berrow Ladies are set to play their first match following the Christmas break, as they travel to Wellington Ladies (ko 2pm).

Berrow are second from bottom in the Somerset County Women’s Division 1 standings, but they are only one point behind Sunday’s hosts.
