BURNHAM United's bid to pick up their first points of the Somerset County League season was frustrated on Saturday, as their scheduled match at home to Keynsham Town Reserves was called off.
Having lost their Division 1 opener 2-1 away to Minehead the previous weekend, United remain on zero points after their Cassis Close pitch was closed.
So the match went the same way as Burnham United Reserves' game with Tunley Athletic on August 18 – also postponed.

The Reserves had better luck with getting their Division 3 match on, but less luck with the result.
They were undone 3-0 away to early pace-setters Chew Magna, for whom Callum Hodge (2) and Charlie Dymond found the net.
Burnham United Ladies enjoyed more success in their latest pre-season match, beating Bradley Stoke 3-0.
Daisy Goldsmith (2) and Mollie Harvey were on target, with Trish Philips and Chloe Collins shining in midfield, and Sarah Brueford marshalling the defence.

THIS coming Saturday, Burnham United are due to host Staplegrove, while the Reserves go to Banwell (both ko 3pm).
As for the Ladies, they finish their pre-season schedule by entertaining Porlock next Wednesday, August 29, before their league campaign begins on September 2, when they host Ash Rangers Ladies.
