BURNHAM United Ladies get their Somerset County Women’s League Division 1 campaign underway at home to Ash Rangers Ladies on Sunday (ko 2pm).
The newly-formed side have prepared for their first league season with some excellent friendly results, their pre-season culminating with an excellent 5-0 win at home to Porlock on Wednesday night.
Burnham United's men's first team are scheduled to host Uphill Castle in the first round of the Somerset Senior Cup on Saturday (ko 2pm).
They will be raring to go, having seen last weekend's match at home to Staplegrove called off due to cracks in the pitch at Cassis Close.
As for United’s Reserves, they go to Middlezoy Rovers Reserves in Division 3 of the Somerset County League (ko 3pm).
Burnham United A kick off their Weston & District League Division 3 season at home to Congresbury on Saturday.
