BURNHAM United will be hoping for a long-awaited return to form tomorrow, but they could not have asked for a tougher assignment.

Beaten heavily last weekend, United now welcome Somerset County League Division 1 leaders Saltford to Cassis Close for a 3pm kick-off.

Saltford are yet to lose in the league this season, winning five matches and drawing three, while Burnham are third from bottom after one win and five defeats.

Burnham United Reserves travel to Winscombe Reserves, who are three points and three places above them in the Division 3 table.

In the Weston-super-Mare & District League, Division 4 sides Huntspill Crowns and Wedmore Reserves are both in action.

Huntspill go to Weston Celtic, while Wedmore host Hutton A.

Saturday’s other matches see Burnham United A entertain Banwell A in the Bob Keyes Cup, while Wedmore’s first team are away to Locking Park in the Hospital Cup.

It is a quieter than usual Sunday programme, with neither Burnham United Ladies nor the Under-18 side in action this coming weekend.

There is a reduced fixture list in the Uxella Bridgwater & District Sunday League, too, with Ramblers v Highburn Athletic (Division 1) and Victoria Gate Albion v Huntspill Crowns BPH (Division 2) the only matches taking place.
