BURNHAM-ON-SEA RFC are looking to end their year on a high as they travel to St Bernadettes Old Boys in Somerset Premier on Saturday.
The Stags are in good form and thumped Hornets 2nds 91-0 last time out to rise to third in the table.
Captain Ross McKechan said: "It will be a tougher challenge this weekend but I am confident we will rise to it.
"It is important we end the year on a high."
It has been a calendar year of two halves for Burnham, whose 2018 began with a long winless run which saw them relegated from Western Counties West - they have responded well at the lower level, however, and are keen to rise yet higher in the table in the new year.
Burnham 2nds, who drew 0-0 at Martock last weekend, host Winscombe 2nds in Somerset 2 South on Saturday.
