AN 89th-minute winner completed a fine Burnham United comeback as they came from a goal down to defeat Timsbury Athletic on Saturday.

Ben Gates and Curtis Bradshaw were on the scoresheet for United, who are now unbeaten in five matches - a run which had led them from relegation danger to comfortable safety.

Their recent upturn in fortunes faces a tough test on Saturday as they travel to league leaders Mendip Broadwalk.
