SOMERSET have named a 13-strong squad for the Specsavers

County Championship

match against Surrey, which begins tomorrow.

Jack Brooks has returned to fitness following his calf injury, but Lewis Gregory (left intercostal muscle injury) and Josh Davey (left quad injury) have not made it.

Jamie Overton has been recalled from his loan at Northamptonshire and is included in the squad, as is 19-year-old all-rounder Tom Lammonby.

The full Somerset squad named by head coach Jason Kerr is as follows: Tom Abell (c), Azhar Ali, Tom Banton, George Bartlett, Jack Brooks, Steve Davies, Tim Groenewald, James Hildreth, Tom Lammonby, Jack Leach, Craig Overton, Jamie Overton, Marcus Trescothick.

The match is due to start at 11am at Guildford, and pits an in-form Somerset side - who have three wins from four Championship matches, and picked up the first silverware of the season in the Royal London One-Day Cup - against the reigning Division 1 champions.

Surrey have made an unsteady start to their title defence, drawing three times and losing to Warwickshire last week.

They have made one change to their 14-man squad from that match, with spinner Freddie van der Bergh coming in for Gus Atkinson.

Full Surrey squad: Gareth Batty, Scott Borthwick, Rory Burns (c), Jordan Clark, Rikki Clarke, Matt Dunn, Dean Elgar, Ben Foakes, Will Jacks, Morne Morkel, Ryan Patel, Jamie Smith, Mark Stoneman, Freddie van den Bergh.

The reverse fixture, at the Cooper Associates County Ground in Taunton, finished as a draw after rain put paid to Somerset's hopes of chasing down a Surrey total on the final day.
