OAKE Manor ladies captain Ros Shepherd and Mike Robbins won the Jubilee Trophy and annual Mixed Greensomes Competition where the Ladies and Seniors play together.

Ros and Mike scored an incredible 45 points, six clear of second-placed Jenny Musgrove and Alan Harman.

Pat Snelling and Dave Kinnear were third, also on 39, and Annie Reed and Seniors Captain Colin Shepherd were fourth, also with 39.

Janet Howe won Division 1 of the Ladies Sunday Stableford Competition with 35 points.

Suzanne Reed came second with 33, Rosemary Webber was third with 31 and Kathy Salway was fourth with 30.

Megan Hembery won Division 2 with 37 points, the best score of the day.

Ladies captain Ros Shepherd was second with 34 and Clare Tough was third with 26.

The first three players in Division 1 of the Men’s Sunday Stableford all scored 36 points.

On count back, Ross Thomas was first, Neil Hallett was second and John Ashton third, while Mike Cottrell was fourth with 34.

Peter Bailey won Division 2 with 42 points, the best score of the day.

Malcolm Prosser was second with 41, Connor Perry was third with 40 and Mark Smith was fourth with 38.

Mike Amos won Division 1 of the Seniors Monday Stableford Competition with 38 points on countback from Glyn Pearce, who came second also with 38.

Ian Earley was third with 37 and Peter Gedge was fourth, also on 37.

The first three players in Division 2 all scored 38 points but on count back Bob Trott was first, Tony Beck was second and John Still was third, while Colin Gould was fourth with 37.

Pat Snelling won Division 1 of the Ladies Tuesday Medal with nett 71.

Cathy Shepherd was second with nett 72, Kathy Salway was third also nett 72 and Jenny Musgrove was fourth with nett 73.

Ladies Captain Ros Shepherd won Division 2 with nett 68, the best score of the day.

Mo Young came second with nett 71, Jane King was third with nett 75 and Jeannette Jones was fourth with nett 76.

The St Margaret’s Hospice Cup competition took place at Taunton & Pickeridge Golf Club on Saturday, with all players donating to the charity through their entry fee.

In Division 1, the winner was Pete Scarratt with a nett 65, three shots clear of second-placed JJ Poole with 68, while Gary Wide claimed third with 69.

David Pring won the second division with a nett 65, Bob Irish was second on 68 but only following countback that put him ahead of third-placed Mark Coleman who returned with the same score.

Kevin Scribbins topped Division 3 and was the overall winner of the competition with a nett 64, four shots clear of his nearest rival Lewis Woodcock with 68, while Richard Hatcher was third on 69.

On Tuesday, the Ladies’ Section took part in the Daily Mail Foursomes, at the end of which the winners were Sue Walsh and Pat Follett with 72.5, but only after countback had put them ahead of second-placed Ali McGowan and Mary Guy, who recorded the same score.

Third place went to Lennox Heath and Jane Ledsham with a nett score of 74.

In the nine-hole competition the winner was Maureen Hailes with 19 points from Mary Perrett on 15.

Tomorrow (Friday) T&P will be hosting their Pro-Am, a competition which involves teams of three amateurs playing with a professional while, on Sunday, the T&P Junior Section Open will be taking place.
