TAUNTON Town will look to extend their fine home form this week, the Peacocks having gone 12 unbeaten in all competitions at the Cygnet Health Care Stadium.

Tomorrow’s visitors Metropolitan Police beat Taunton twice last season, but September’s reverse Southern League fixture ended 1-1.

Taunton head of football Rob Dray told the County Gazette: “Met Police are always very tricky, and they signed a couple of new players last week.

“Their manager [Gavin Macpherson] has done an unbelievable job after his team was picked apart last year.

“We can’t take our foot off the gas, but we’re in the groove at the moment, it feels good.

"Confidence is something you can't buy, and we have that.

“This is a tough period in the season but we’re formidable at home, we’re in good shape and everyone’s working hard.”

Dray expects to have a full squad for tomorrow (ko 3pm), and a midweek fixture - if there is one.

Taunton were scheduled to host Hendon for a league match next Wednesday, but are now set to go to Paulton Rovers in the Challenge Cup on Tuesday.

Paulton, however, face Sholing in the FA Trophy this Saturday and - should they win that - they will face Bath City in the next round on Tuesday instead.

WELLINGTON will be looking to build on Wednesday night's 3-3 draw at home to Street, as they entertain Keynsham Town at North Street tomorrow (3pm).

The draw against Street - courtesy of goals from Elliot Williams, Harry Scatchard and Glen Wright - ended a run of six straight defeats for the Tangerines.

It has also taken them up to 19th (third from bottom) in the Western League Premier Division, going into tomorrow's fixture with 16th-placed Keynsham.

In the First Division, Bishops Lydeard - fresh off a 6-1 win at Wincanton Town last weekend - make the trip to Radstock Town tomorrow (3pm).
