SOMERSET are set to play the world's number one Test team, New Zealand, this summer.
New Zealand - who are currently at the top of the ICC men's Test rankings - will be playing two Tests against England, at Lord’s (June 2-6) and Edgbaston (June 10-14).
Before that, they will play a four-day match against Somerset at the Cooper Associates County Ground, in Taunton.
That match will be played on May 25-28 - in between Somerset's County Championship group stage fixtures away to Gloucestershire (May 20-23) and at home to Hampshire (June 3-6).
The New Zealand match will be included in the Somerset 'Club Membership' and 'Club & One-Day Membership' categories for the upcoming season, but not included in the 'One-Day Membership' or 'Associate Membership' packages.
The Test series against New Zealand kicks off England's international summer schedule, which continues with a T20 series against Sri Lanka (June 23-26), a One-Day series against Sri Lanka (June 29-July 4), a One-Day series against Pakistan (July 8-13), a T20 series against Pakistan (July 16-20) and a five-match Test series against India (August 4-September 14).
