THE Avenue Tennis Club in Burnham-on-Sea has reopened court number 9 with another Friday evening Vinny’s Minis session.

The session was really well attended by lots of children keen to play some tennis related games.

Vinny Duddy said they had a really fantastic night and he wanted to thank all the parents and grandparents who brought the children along.

For those that noticed, the club has 8 floodlit courts, numbering 2 to 9 with Court 1 being their clubhouse that is also available for hire.

The clubs new head coach, Tim Seymour was on hand to let the parents know about future plans to add another adult coaching session to the current tennis programme during the same time as Vinny’s Minis so that parents could then also learn to play whilst their children were on court with Vinny.
