Littler looks to continue dominance
World champion Littler produced a stunning performance on Tuesday as he hit a nine-darter and averaged almost 114 in his victory over Nathan Aspinall in Blackpool. The defending Matchplay champion is looking in good form to make it back-to-back titles, but in his way stands Josh Rock in the last 16. Dirk van Duijvenbode knocked out Michael van Gerwen last time out and he faces Gary Anderson in the other match, with coverage on Sky Sports Action at 8.00pm and Sky Sports Main Event at 9.30pm.
The Hundred takes centre stage
The Hundred enters its third day of action as London Spirit take on Manchester Super Giants, with the women’s game live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Cricket at 2.30pm, while coverage of the men’s match starts at 6.00pm. The men’s game will feature the likes of Jos Buttler, Heinrich Klaasen, Liam Livingstone and Gus Atkinson, while Sophie Ecclestone and Smriti Mandhana will be in action earlier on at Lord’s.
Commonwealth Games begins
The opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games signals the start of the competition where around 3,000 athletes from 74 nations will battle it out across a number of sports. The ceremony will get under way at the OVO Hydro Arena in Glasgow live on TNT Sports 2 at 6.30pm and Channel 5 from 8.00pm.

The Tour de France heads towards the finish line with stage 18 from Voiron to the summit finish at Orcieres-Merlette. Race leader Tadej Pogacar will look to tighten his grip on the yellow jersey as he closes in on a fifth Tour title, with action live on TNT Sports 1 at 11.15am. In golf, the ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open begins on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Golf at 9.30am, the Senior Open Championship on Sky Sports Golf at 1.30pm and 3M Open on the same channel at 7.00pm.
