BURNHAM-on-Sea Moose recently offered a cheque and support to a local boxing club.
Titans Boxing Club is a small club in Highbridge who are fighting back after Covid restrictions.
Prior to the pandemic they had a following of around a dozen members, but now they are casting their net in an effort to rebuild.
Qualified boxing coach John Saunders is the main organiser, and when contacted by Terry Cornelius to offer help, he accepted gratefully.
Initially, Terry offered a cheque for £50, towards running expenses, and the attached photograph marks the donation.
Terry Cornelius said: "I had met John a few years ago, and our Burnham-on-Sea Moose lodge 123, raises funds towards community help.
"This donation is a small offer of help towards Titans restart, and will in all probability be added to in the future, as our group also recovers from the pandemic lock downs."
John Saunders replied, thanking Terry for the donation, and emphasised how the importance of Boxing and training assists in a positive contribution to health and well-being.
